The Finnova Foundation will represent the ECOFFEE project at Transfiere 2026, Europe's premier science and technology forum taking place in Malaga from February 24-26. The project will occupy Stand A3 (FYCMA), showcasing its innovative industrial symbiosis model.

ECOFFEE focuses on transforming coffee waste into valuable resources for the green economy. The presentation will highlight how the initiative has successfully integrated reverse logistics and digital traceability to valorize coffee by-products, transforming them into resources for sectors as diverse as agrifood and chemicals.

The consortium—comprising AZTI, Euskovazza, FumiHogar, and the Finnova Foundation—aims to forge public-private partnerships and demonstrate how EU-funded innovation generates profitable, sustainable industrial solutions. The project operates under the CIRCULOOS ecosystem with a budget of €256,451.25 and backing from Horizon Europe (Grant Agreement No. 101092295).

Visitors to the booth can explore synergies with Europe's largest technology transfer meeting, discover the scalable bio-based business model, and explore future alliance opportunities focused on expanding zero-waste implementation across regions.
